Sound familiar?

Love your brand.
Not your never-ending
to-do list?

Your Shopify store is selling. People love the product. You’ve got ideas for what comes next. And email? You’d quite like someone to get on with it.

That’s my bit ↗

ON REPEAT IN YOUR HEAD?

“I want them to come back.”

For another bag of treats. The next refill. A second gate. I build the Klaviyo journeys that make the next purchase feel like a natural next step.

“Can someone just own this?”

Strategy, copy, design and the technical bits. One experienced person who learns your brand and gets stuck in. Me.

“Please make it sound like us.”

You’ve put too much personality into this business for the emails to go bland. Let’s give your inbox the same care you give your products.

Founder-led. Small team. Big care for the brand. That’s my kind of company. Especially Shopify pet brands and stores with repeat purchases or subscriptions. You speak to me. I do the work.

Ways to work together

Your store looks great.
Do your emails?

You put all that effort into your website. Then the welcome email turns up looking like it belongs to somebody else. I join the dots, from the first sign-up to the next order.

Starting from scratch? Inherited a bit of a mess? I handle your Klaviyo setup or rebuild, from the Shopify connection to the flows, copy and design, around the way your customers actually shop.

Subscribers deserve better.

I connect your subscription data to Klaviyo and tailor the messaging. Someone already on a subscription shouldn't get an offer they can't use. Replenishment, upsells and win-back journeys can follow as the account develops.

Want to learn the rabbit hole?

I also offer one-to-one Klaviyo coaching and training. Bring the things you're stuck on, and I'll show you how to work through them. Practical sessions built around your account, not a generic slide deck.

Your person in the inbox

Hi, I'm Tat.
This is my rabbit hole.

I've been working in Klaviyo since 2016. I've watched it grow from a fairly simple email tool into an entire ecosystem, and yes, I still get excited about a clever segment.

I work directly with founders and small teams who want someone to get stuck in. I'll learn your products, ask awkwardly useful questions and tell you if the customer journey is doing something daft. Then I'll get on with the work.

I’ve completed full Klaviyo setups for Dragons’ Den brands Hanna Sillitoe and Dog-G8. Heading for the Den or Shark Tank? Let’s get your emails ready.

Make it feel like your brand.

I bring the strategy, copy, design and logic together in Klaviyo. You share your feedback, I add the finishing touches, and your emails are ready to meet your customers.

Next / Improve

Build on the good stuff.

I use the results to celebrate what’s working and shape the next idea. Thoughtful testing and regular refinements keep your emails growing with your brand.

A few useful details

Before the call.

Who is Tat Jones?

I’m Tat, an independent freelance Klaviyo expert. I’ve worked with Klaviyo since 2016, helping founders and small Shopify teams with their email marketing. Strategy, copy, design and the technical bits. You speak to me. I do the work.

What can you help with?

I build and rebuild Klaviyo accounts, create automated customer journeys and manage ongoing campaigns. I also offer account audits and practical one-to-one coaching. That can include Shopify connections, welcome emails, abandonment flows, post-purchase journeys, segmentation, sign-up forms and reusable templates.

Who do you work best with?

Founder-led Shopify stores with a product people love and a small team doing a lot. You care about your brand. You want customers to come back. And you’d like someone experienced to take ownership of email, without needing to manage every little detail.

Do you specialise in pet brands?

Yes. Pet brands are a particular specialism, alongside other Shopify businesses. I look at the products, the people buying them and the pets they’re buying for. That helps shape relevant messages, useful segmentation and customer journeys with care built in.

Can you help with subscriptions?

I connect subscription information to Klaviyo and tailor messages around the customer’s status. That can support replenishment, upsells and win-back journeys—and help existing subscribers receive offers that make sense for them.

Do you offer Klaviyo coaching?

Yes. Bring your account, your questions and the flow that’s making your head hurt. I explain what’s happening and help you work through it. Practical sessions using your own account, rather than a generic slide deck.

Can you help with PushOwl?

I also offer PushOwl support for Shopify stores, including setup reviews, opt-in messaging, campaign planning and automation planning. The aim is to give push notifications a useful place in the customer journey.

Have you worked with Dragons’ Den businesses?

I’ve completed full Klaviyo setups for Hanna Sillitoe and Dog-G8, both Dragons’ Den contestants. I welcome enquiries from founders preparing for—or following—a Dragons’ Den or Shark Tank appearance. I’m independent and have no affiliation with either programme.

What results can I expect?

The starting point matters: your account, traffic, products and customer behaviour. My case studies explain specific work and reported results, including the measurement period and relevant limitations. Email-attributed revenue and overall store revenue are different measures.

How much does it cost?

I quote for the work your account needs. A setup, ongoing campaign support, an audit and coaching involve different scopes. Tell me about your store and what you want help with, and I’ll recommend a starting point.

“Working with Tat has honestly been such a win. She knows her stuff and how to explain it without making you feel dumb, which (let’s be real) is a gift. She’s super open to helping, always willing to jump in, and she actually gets things done.

She’s made templates for us (lifesavers), helped troubleshoot all kinds of random tech things, and shared insights that really made me rethink how I do email.

What I love the most is that she really cares. You can feel it. It’s not just “here’s your info, good luck”. She’s in it with you, and that makes such a difference.

If you’re thinking of working with her, just do it. You’ll be glad you did.”

68% more email revenue. Quick fixes first.

WaxWax / Klaviyo case study

Broken links. Incorrect images. Buttons that needed attention.

I corrected the faults in WaxWax’s existing emails. At the 30-day review, I reported a 68% uplift in email revenue following those changes.

The wider redesign was still underway. The account was already showing stronger results.

That is why I check the basics early. An email can look ready to send while the route to buying needs work.

Around 7.3× the revenue per campaign.

WaxWax / Klaviyo case study

WaxWax’s average campaign revenue reached around 7.3 times the previous year’s level, comparing the same month.

I tracked each send at a consistent seven-day review point, identified winning campaigns and mapped the strongest content to relevant automated flows for approval.

The numbers informed the next decision. Which message deserved another outing? Where could it fit into the customer journey?

The result gave me a stronger campaign benchmark and a shortlist of content worth reusing.

Nearly 300 profiles. More useful customer information.

I asked existing subscribers about their pets through a pop-up.

At the review, just under 300 profiles held richer information. A relevant pet-owner segment contained 80 people.

I created a two-email follow-up flow around that product category, giving the new information a practical use.

I also reviewed successful campaigns with the client and discussed clearer ways to explain future offers.

The work gave the brand a more specific audience to speak to and a follow-up journey to review.

Your subscribers can tell you what matters to them. I help turn those answers into relevant emails.

Approximately $3,900 from a loyalty launch and resend.

WaxWax / Klaviyo case study

WaxWax’s new loyalty programme gave me a reason to reconnect with previous and lapsed customers.

I introduced the programme with a points incentive. The launch email reportedly generated around $3,000.

Two days later, I resent it to non-openers. Another $859 in reported revenue.

Approximately $3,900 across the two sends, with the launch ranking third among the month’s campaigns at the review.

The next job was to turn enrolment into points redemption. The launch had given that work a promising start.

9.2× average campaign revenue during my coaching work.

This client put the work in. I helped with the decisions, troubleshooting and performance reviews.

By the August review, average campaign revenue was reported at 9.2 times February’s level. Email accounted for 34% of business revenue.

Alongside that progress, I helped the client tackle specific questions: browse emails using cart language, missing dynamic images and reorder timing for a long-lasting product.

Practical guidance. Live account problems. Clear next steps.

55% higher attributed revenue. 20% higher store revenue.

The team’s 30-day review showed 55% higher attributed revenue alongside 20% higher overall store revenue.

Flows and campaigns contributed roughly equally to the attributed revenue.

My involvement was part of a wider team effort, with paid acquisition and on-site changes also underway. I reviewed the results with the team and explored what might explain them.

That joined-up view matters when deciding where to focus next.

A recovery button that customers couldn’t click.

I sent myself a checkout recovery email. Its purchase link became unclickable.

Then I found a browse email using cart data while excluding people with carts. Blank content where a product should have appeared.

Welcome offers, upsell steps and post-purchase timing raised further issues.

The audit turned “my recovery emails need work” into a specific list of faults and decisions for the proposed rebuild.

Customer care belongs in the flow.

A customer’s pet had died. Future emails needed a way to recognise that.

I prepared a journey triggered by a bereavement preference: a condolence email and a proposed charity donation in the pet’s memory.

I also proposed removing the pet’s name from future personalisation.

The emails were created and the setup prepared, with charity selection and activation still to finalise.

A concrete customer-care journey the brand could review and develop.

Some lifecycle moments need more care. I help you design the messages around them.

A pop-up that sent shoppers away from the product.

A customer signed up while looking at a product. The pop-up redirected them to the homepage.

I spotted the issue and guided the correction during the call. The form closed; the customer stayed on the page.

Then I mapped out wider opportunities with the client: welcome emails, recovery, replenishment based on purchases and messages recognising customer milestones.

One practical fix, followed by a focused lifecycle plan.

I look at what your customers actually experience, then help you decide what to improve first.

The pop-up correction was made in-session. The wider lifecycle work was proposed.

Klaviyo coaching that gets into the account.

I guided the client through live flows, real templates and the data behind the messages.

Product information versus order information. Event data versus profile data. What to use, where, and why.

I helped adjust a pop-up and the property recording the sign-up incentive. Implementation tasks were broken into manageable steps.

The session combined explanations with practical account work, so each concept had an immediate example.

Bring the flow you are stuck on. Bring the template that makes no sense. I’ll help you work through it.

Two welcome journeys from one sign-up.

I completed the quiz, joined through the offer and waited.

Two welcome journeys arrived. Different messages, landing at the same time.

Testing the experience myself identified a specific problem to investigate: overlapping entry rules.

I also reviewed subscription attribution, communication around open support tickets and where early subscribers dropped off.

The discovery session produced a focused list of journey and reporting recommendations.

If your automations have grown into a tangle, I can help you see what customers receive and where the journeys need attention.

A discount code should be easy to use.

The customer sees an offer. Using it means remembering a code, returning to the website and applying it.

In this anonymised example, I described making a discount-link correction to improve that route.

It is a small detail worth checking across every promotional email. Where does the offer lead? How much does the customer have to remember? What happens after the click?

I review the purchase journey as well as the email. Sometimes the next improvement is already sitting in your template.

Illustrative implementation example; no numerical outcome claimed.
